Bio

Quirky, no-nonsense, funny, Marnie – writer, editor, author, lecturer, and clinician -- is a straight-shooter, with a distinctive voice that takes on the world of relationships in her columns. Her advice column, "Ask Sadie,” was syndicated through Tribune Media to top newspapers across the country. She has also written a special parenting column for the Tucson Citizen.

Marnie’s hundreds of relationship articles have appeared in women's magazines, newspapers, and websites in the U.S. and around the world, including: Woman, First, Women's World, Theater Week, The New York Times, The Rocky Mountain News Co., Las Vegas Woman, and Roxanne. She is also a regular contributor to AISH (readership: over 350,000).

In addition to writing over 20 books and award/calendars, she was a writer for the daytime drama, As the World Turns, which garnered her both Emmy and Writers Guild award nominations.

A lecturer, and host of her own advice radio show on KDWN (14 States), Marnie has been the advice maven on The Karen Grant Show, in Monterey, California, and has appeared on hundreds of other radio and television shows, including Lifetime for Women, Mike & Maty, The Mark Wahlberg Show, The Pat Bullard Show, USA Live, Charles Perez and Bill O'Reilly (Fox).

In 2003, she starred in a relationship-advice pilot for the Discovery Networks.

Marnie holds an M.S. degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work, where she won the Judith J. Ginsberg Memorial Award and has a private practice through Liveperson.com.
