Bishop Richard E. Worrell

"DADDY RICHARD" was your name for many years and to many people, young and not-so-young. You were loving and kind to all of us who experienced you.

In fact, you were the greatest example of JESUS CHRIST that most of us every knew. You were stern and direct in the humblest ways. You taught us and nurtured us, all at the same time.

We remember your quiet teachings as we encounter different situations, and we face them with the assurance, boldness, and ability that you showed. We love you forever as we continuely strive to BE LIKE JESUS...TO BE LIKE YOU. GOOD NIGHT DADDY RICHARD.

You took time to talk with us, race against us and spoil us with a grandparental passion, I miss you Granddaddy Richard!

My Daddy Richard
by: Rachelle Worrell

Daddy Richard was a wonderful man. Yes, he was very Christ-like in so many ways. I used to just like to talk to him. He was a very unique person in that he was so humble and gracious. He treated everyone the same - no matter who they were and what station in life they were from. He taught his children at home and his children out of the home to always be kind to people and to treat people like you would want to be treated. A lesson that I remember today. He loved playing practical jokes on folks. He had a good sense of humour and loved to laugh!

I will always love my Daddy Richard. He will always be a part of who I am today. I will never lose that. We have been truly blessed to have known him and be a part of his life. He loved us all so much. Love, to all, Ping.
