Transcending Loss: Understanding the Lifelong Impact of Grief and How to Make it Meaningful

by Steve
(Lenex, MA USA)

Transcending Loss by Ashley Davis Prend saved my life. It was the first book that I read (and I read a few) that not only made me feel that grieving is healthy but helped me to understand that it will always be part of my life just as my relationship with my father will always be part of my life. I finally have real meaning back in my life and after so many years really do feel like I have 'transcended' my loss.

Steve,

Hello! I am the author of "Transcending Loss" and I'm SO happy that my book was helpful to you. I have additional free exercises and free videos that you might find useful as you keep integrating the loss and the love in your life (www.ashleydavisbush.com). I wish you peace on the journey. Ashley

Looks like a good one

Thanks Steve,

I was just reading over some reviews about the book, and it does look like a good one. The concept of transcending is important in trauma healing and in dealing with grief. As you know grief isn't something one can just "get over," but rising above hole it creates in our lives is possible.
