Loss of my Mom

Lord,

Thank you for my Mom's life, she died in 2006 but now we have to care for my Dad who has dementia and it has been hard at times for the family. I wish Mom was here at times to guide us since she was so good at it.

Pray as a family we can work out our differences and understand how to help the best with my Dad.

Pray my time with my dad will not be divided that my kids would understand and find other ways to get thing done. Let me not have to worry about this or be pulled in different directions.

 prayer for strength

God of Power,

We ask for strength for Dana and her family as they remember their mother and care for their father. I pray that they would have the wisdom that they saw in their mother--wisdom to know how to work through the many decisions that are facing them these days.

We ask for peace for Dana and her children during these days when there are many demands on her time. May they find rest and direction to sustain them all in the days and weeks ahead.

Let it be, dear God, Amen.
