finding joy and finding someone

I've been dating for a long time now, my divorce being nearly three years ago. My heart is hardening and I feel the youthful exuberance that I'm known for slipping away. Help me see joy in the now. Help me not lose faith that a relationship is possible for me while also not losing faith that, with or without a man in my life, joy is already here. Please pray that I am at peace with whatever happens to me and that God shines through me wherever I go, to all who may need Him.

God of Joy,

We ask that you would help Mia find joy in the present moment of each day. Help her to see the many small things that she has to celebrate and be grateful for.

We also ask that you give her the grace to be present to each emotion that she experiences, even when joy seems far away. Help her to find the strength to hold what is and find glimmers of hope on dark days.

Let her have a renewed sense of your presence and peace in her life. May she look around and see with eyes anew that there is an abundance in the universe.
